The
bill (Reg. No.6505) supplements
the Criminal Code of Ukraine with a new clause 2701 "Intentional Damage of the Facilities of Public Utility
Sector", and amends clause 194-2 of the Code of Ukraine
on Administrative Infringements to
strengthen the
responsibility of individuals
and legal entities for
observance of the Criminal Code. Thus, it introduces the penalties for the individuals
and legal entities if they damage or destroy the facilities of the
public utility sector, which caused or could cause casualties.
Adjusting the bill to the second reading, the Committee received 14 amendments. 12 amendments were taken into account fully or partially, 2 amendments were rejected.
